How seeing our psychiatrist actually works, and why it starts somewhere other than his diary.
You don't book Dr Alexander directly. You start with a comprehensive assessment with one of our clinicians, and psychiatry is booked from there, once he is working from your full story rather than a blank slate.
You reach out through the usual enquiry pathway. If psychiatric input looks like it might be part of what you need, that is noted early, not decided on the spot.
A full session with one of our clinicians, building your actual history and context, not a form to tick through. Depending on what is going on, this can take more than one session. We would rather take the time than hand on a half-finished picture.
Dr Alexander meets you already knowing your story. The session is about the actual clinical decisions, not spent gathering information that is already there.
Psychiatry sits alongside your other care at Anoshe, not separate from it. Dr Alexander delivers his own psychotherapy where relevant, rather than handing that off.
A consultant psychiatrist working with adults, who delivers his own psychotherapy rather than prescribing and referring elsewhere, and who stays connected to the rest of your care team here.
Start with an enquiry and we will talk through where it fits. He is meeting you with your story already in the room. That is the whole point of the order.
