For neurodivergent adults who have only recently understood themselves, whether that understanding came from a formal diagnosis or from finally having the language.
Realising you are neurodivergent as an adult tends to bring relief and grief at once. Relief, because things finally make sense. Grief, for the years spent not knowing, misdiagnosed, or blaming yourself for things that were never a personal failing.
This group is a space to sit with both, alongside others who understand exactly what that mix feels like, without needing to explain it from the beginning.
A formal diagnosis is not required to join this group. Getting assessed as an adult is expensive, often waitlisted for months, and less accessible for women and people of colour specifically, who are more often missed or misread by clinicians unfamiliar with how neurodivergence actually looks once it has been masked for years. If you know yourself, that is enough to belong here.
If you do want assessment, our assessment pathway covers adult ADHD, and autism screening with referral on to an assessor who can complete the diagnostic process.
Orientation, and naming that every path here, formal or self-understood, is equally welcome and equally real.
Naming what masking has actually cost. Exhaustion, burnout, and the erosion of a felt sense of self.
Space for the grief and anger that often gets skipped past, for what was missed, misdiagnosed, or misunderstood.
Looking at the cultural pressures that made masking feel necessary, sometimes even rewarded.
Practical work on where and how it is actually safe to stop performing, and where it still isn't, yet.
Closing with integration, not a cure. A life built around who you actually are, not who you learned to perform.
Session outlines are shown here. The workbook, exercises and facilitated discussion are part of the group itself.
Or want to ask something before you decide. Get in touch and we will talk it through with you. The performance was never the problem. It was the only option you had.
